With Naïs, Rameau composes some of his most impressive pages : fights, celebrations, love, weddings, lots of occasion to praise the loving feelings between Naïs and Neptune.
Olympus Gods are well represented by two famous French Barytons : Florian Sempey (left) is Jupiter and Thomas Dolié (right), Pluton in this concert version during the Müpa Budapest Early Music Festival (co-production with the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles).
This concert, conducted by Hungarian conductor György Vashegyi, will be recorded.
Thomas Dolié will then be part of project : Phèdre by Lemoyne, in Thésée's rôle (Théâtre de Caen, and Bouffes du Nord in Paris). In June and July, back with Rameau and his Zoroastre, in the Komische Oper - Berlin.
Florian Sempey travers directly to Limoges to be Dandini in Rossini's Cenerentola. for one performance he will be in Paris Claudio in Béatrice et Benedict. Among other concerts, he will sign Zurga in Les Pêcheurs de Perle (Bizet).
